I nearly cried (I would have if I wasn't in the middle of homeschooling my kid right now). Much of what you wrote I can relate to. I just started writing again this past year. I've been sitting on a book idea (okay, maybe 20), that I've let gather dust for over twenty years. Thank you for sharing your heart!
That last verse hit me like a ton of bricks. I relate to so much of this. As a writer who has been around since the blogspot days, I am tired of writing to algorithms and character limits. I’m tired of shallow and distracted. Thank you for leading the way, and for the gentle reminder that, while I might have a lot on my plate right now, there are ways I can eliminate distractions and noise. ❤️
I am also learning that even though we can’t go back, we can figure out what we need to limit in this new world, so we can keep our precious focus on what’s most important. We aren’t victims. We can navigate this, with the Lord’s leading! (And truly, we’re the first generation to have to do it.)
That was so heartwarming...I'm glad you found "writing" again...it suits you.

Amen sister. Take me back to blogspot. 🤣
