Between the writing you've done here already, a paragraph in the AWBC book, the ramblings of another online writer I follow, a book I'm reading on weekend mornings, and the messages I'm getting in my private devotions as well as the ones I'm doing with my husband, I'm getting confirmation of what I've felt I'm needing to do.

I've been carrying my own burdens, wondering why God isn't blessing me in the process, and generally just trying to make it all happen. I've been pondering it for a few months, and now actively taking measures to let go of my agenda and lean into what He has for me.

First - not having kids I must be out of touch with modern music (that isn't country) -

Second - I really needed to read this today -- left my office and just felt tired...by the time I got home thru traffic - it was me wondering if 6pm is too early for bed.

Heavy is a good word for it - worry about my health, my work, my house, my finances, my Mom (and how much longer she will remember me), my niece and her husband and 4 kids now stationed in Germany for the next 3-4 years by the Army...

I took the verse, put it on paper and printed it out to place next to my bed, in the bathroom, on the door leaving the house, on the door when I walk back in...reminders will be good.
